The main objective of the camp is to promote healthy lifestyle habits and sports practice, instilling the values associated with sports among participants during their summer holidays. It aims to offer an active, fun, and formative experience.
Throughout the camp weeks, attendees will enjoy a wide range of activities adapted to their age and skill level. These will include treasure hunts, team games, cooperative dynamics, team and alternative sports, mountain biking (MTB), swimming pool activities, excursions, and educational and recreational workshops, as well as outdoor activities in natural settings.
The camp will be directed by qualified technicians from the Ondarreta Alcorcón Triathlon Club, who possess extensive experience in sports education and working with children and youth. The facilities at the Prado de Santo Domingo Sports Center, featuring an Olympic swimming pool, athletics track, MTB circuits, green areas, and multipurpose spaces, ensure a diverse and safe program.
Families have the flexibility to enroll their children for one, two, or all three weeks: June 22-26, June 29-July 3, and July 6-10. This flexibility is designed to assist with family work-life balance during the summer period.
“"We want children and young people to enjoy an active summer, make new friends, and discover different sports disciplines in a safe and motivating environment."
The club's organization emphasizes that sports will be used as an educational tool to foster values such as camaraderie, respect, effort, autonomy, and coexistence.
