Man Arrested in Móstoles for Stabbing Flatmate Over Washing Machine Dispute

A 28-year-old man was apprehended after a pre-dawn argument escalated into a stabbing incident, leaving his flatmate with a serious abdominal wound.

National Police have arrested a 28-year-old man in Móstoles on suspicion of attempted homicide after stabbing his flatmate early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred around 2:15 AM on Calle Nardo when officers responded to a call reporting a stabbing inside a residence. Upon arrival, police found the victim on the street with a cutting wound to his abdomen, according to police sources.
The injured party, a Paraguayan citizen born in 1998, told officers he was attacked with a knife by his flatmate, also of Paraguayan nationality and born in 1998, following an argument over the use of the washing machine during the night.
Officers entered the apartment and found the knife believed to have been used in the assault in the kitchen. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
