The local leader has reiterated her criticisms of the regional administration, especially after it was confirmed that the new aerospace and pharmaceutical district will be established in the North zone of the region, excluding Getafe.
“"There is no way to understand it."
This decision has generated controversy, as Getafe is recognized as the main hub for the aerospace sector in Spain and the third largest in Europe, hosting important companies such as Airbus and its subsidiaries.
The future district, which aims to boost both sectors, will be developed in the northern periphery, without considering the existing experience and infrastructure in Getafe.
