The first women's team of CD Leganés FS has ended its season after being eliminated in the promotion playoffs to the top division. The Leganés squad faced Estrela Futsal, one of the main contenders for promotion, who demonstrated their superiority in the tie.

Following an unfavorable 2-6 result in the first leg held at the La Fortuna pavilion, the Madrid-based team traveled to Cortegada (Ourense) for the return match. Despite putting up a strong fight and managing to equalize an initial 2-0 deficit, the team coached by Jorge Babio could not overcome the Galician side, who won 6-3 on aggregate.

In parallel to the competition, the club's sporting management is already working on planning the next project. As initial steps, the contract renewals of two key players for the squad have been made official: Iraia Arbeloa and Candela Urquía. Both players, recognized for their performance this season, will continue their association with the club until 2027.
