A car caught fire this Thursday on kilometer 17 of the A-5 highway, heading out of Madrid, near Móstoles. The incident occurred around 10 AM following a rear-end collision involving three vehicles.
As a result of the accident, several individuals suffered minor injuries. The service road was temporarily closed to traffic for several minutes but has since been reopened.
Firefighters from the Madrid City Council, Alcorcón firefighters, SUMMA 112 emergency services, and the Guardia Civil participated in the intervention and extinguishing efforts.
