The council's Youth Department reports that this qualification is an essential requirement for legally working in summer camps, after-school activities, play centers, end-of-year trips, and youth events, among other career opportunities.
The training program consists of 310 hours, divided into a theoretical phase of 150 hours and a practical phase of 160 hours. The theoretical part will combine in-person classes, virtual training, and a weekend camping trip, taking place on Saturdays and Sundays from October 10th to December 20th, 2026.
The practical phase, which begins after successfully completing the theoretical part, must be finished within a maximum of 18 months. The City Council and the school will provide personalized guidance for finding associations and companies to complete these internships.
The course is aimed at young people aged 17 and over. Thanks to a 30% scholarship provided by the Aranjuez City Council, the final cost for participants is reduced to 180 euros.
The deadline to register is October 7th. Interested individuals can find more information by contacting via email at [juventud@aranjuez.es](mailto:juventud@aranjuez.es) or by phone at 91 809 03 60 (Extension 1412).
