The deadline for submitting offers for the contract expired on July 21st. The State Contracting Platform has provided information on this new tender, the objective of which is to define the technical specifications for the 48-month lease of an SUV / All-Terrain vehicle.
According to the technical specifications, the vehicle will be used for emergency interventions, support in catastrophes and adverse weather events, mobilization of volunteers and teams, access to rural roads, floods, strong winds, snowfalls, or risk scenarios, and transport of material and signage.
The contract includes the delivery of a new, equipped, and branded vehicle, comprehensive maintenance, all-risk insurance without deductible, replacement in case of breakdown, ITV (vehicle inspection), and emergency equipment. The maximum delivery time for the vehicle is 90 calendar days from the contract formalization.

Jesús Mario Blasco, Spokesperson Councilor for the Independent Citizen Group for Aranjuez, described the initiative as "excellent news" and expressed his hope that deadlines would be met and the best offer awarded, adding that "we hope it won't have to be used on many occasions."
Furthermore, Blasco stated the hope that this will be the first of several tenders to equip state security forces and bodies with more resources, urging the Government to translate announced benefits into reality and to provide the local police with more motorized means to monitor and patrol the municipality's streets.
