The season kicks off with the play Esencia, starring actors Juan Echanove and Joaquín Climent, which will be performed on Saturday, September 26. This new programming is the result of an agreement between the regional Government and the local council to enrich the schedule with performances and activities specifically aimed at children and young audiences.
Tickets for the shows are now available for purchase through the theater's website and box office. Additionally, rehearsal rooms will be provided for theater companies and musical groups, offering local artists and students the opportunity to develop their talent in suitable facilities. The theater will also host film screenings, addressing the current lack of an exhibition hall in Aranjuez.
The lineup expands on October 3 with Carmen, nada de nadie, a piece in which actress Beatriz Argüello portrays Carmen Díez de Rivera, blending historical portraiture with the personal dramas of the former chief of staff to President Adolfo Suárez.
The company Ron Lalá will present La Desconquista starting October 10, a work combining humor, music, and poetry with a satirical look at history and colonial processes. This performance will be featured at the theater inaugurated in 1768.
The program continues with two events of significant artistic interest: the special gala of Suma Flamenca Joven on October 17, which will bring together promising talents in flamenco dance and singing, and the Festival de Música Antigua, featuring period compositions by internationally renowned specialized ensembles. Furthermore, the venue will host the Festival de Circo Riesgo and the Festival de Otoño.
