José María Villasante S.L. has been awarded the tender to carry out the service of controlling the quality of human consumption water in the municipality of Aranjuez. Out of six offers submitted, theirs was deemed the best in terms of quality-price ratio, with a total amount of 15,246 euros (including taxes) and an execution period of three years.
The contract's objective is to establish the technical-sanitary criteria for the quality of drinking water, its control, and supply. The service will include sample collection at 28 control points at the consumer's tap in Aranjuez and 12 samples at the ONG BASIDA, an organization that has historically performed these controls with the City Council's approval due to the vulnerability of the group it serves and its geographical location.
Subsequently, sample analyses will be performed, a results bulletin will be prepared, and the data will be notified in computer format to the SINAC. Additionally, the Water Sanitary Plan (PSA) will be carried out at two priority municipal buildings: the Municipal Sports Center Agustín Marañón and the Sports City Las Olivas.
The decision to maintain the current number of analyses, exceeding the minimum legal requirement, is due to most sampling points being public municipal centers with high population influx or sensitive populations, such as educational, health, and social centers.
