The operation, which began around 05:30 AM, has resulted in the detention of up to 19 individuals allegedly linked to a criminal organization involved in drug trafficking. The National Police coordinated a simultaneous deployment in several Madrid municipalities.
Among the affected municipalities, Móstoles stands out, where arrests have been made. Additionally, a total of 16 homes have been searched in Leganés and Fuenlabrada, as well as in the Madrid districts of Villaverde, Vicálvaro, Latina, and Usera.
During the searches, authorities seized various narcotic substances, including heroin, ketamine, and cocaine. Mobile phones, bladed weapons, a revolver, and cash were also confiscated.
The majority of the apartments and premises searched were concentrated in the Villaverde district, considered the main base of operations for the alleged drug traffickers. Initial indications suggest a hierarchical criminal structure with specific roles for drug distribution and storage in the capital and its outskirts.
Approximately 170 agents from various units of the National Police participated in this large-scale operation.
