Alkor School in Alcorcón showcases its educational model to Community of Madrid

Alkor School in Alcorcón received a visit from the Director General of Subsidized Education, Scholarships and Study Aid of the Community of Madrid to showcase its educational model and innovation initiatives.

Last Tuesday, Alkor School in Alcorcón opened its doors to the Director General of Subsidized Education, Scholarships and Study Aid of the Community of Madrid, who gained firsthand insight into the school's educational project. The tour highlighted the main pedagogical innovation initiatives implemented in the classrooms.
The delegation, accompanied by the president of UCETAM and the school's management team, visited various educational stages, from Early Childhood to Secondary. Stops were made in classrooms and spaces where unique pedagogical projects are developed, such as robotics and chess activities, as well as early stimulation and experiential learning proposals for younger students.
In the Primary Education stage, the Exploring the Continents project was presented, along with classroom experiences based on active methodologies and station-based learning, taught in both English and Spanish. The visit also included a presentation in the assembly hall, where Secondary students explained in English initiatives related to the school's international dimension, such as the Erasmus Program and participation in the MBA League.
