The sporting event, starting at 12:00 PM, will bring together 36 elite athletes from over 25 countries. The competition has established itself as an international benchmark in this discipline, which focuses on strength training using body weight and urban structures.
During the official presentation, representatives from the Alcorcón City Council highlighted the importance of this gathering as a tool for sociocultural integration. The local administration has emphasized its commitment to promoting outdoor sports through the installation of specific equipment in various neighborhoods of the municipality.
“"Beyond the sport, we like to consider it a tool for sociocultural integration. People from different backgrounds meet in parks to train and share experiences."
The sporting day aims not only for competitive excellence but also to bring this discipline closer to the public. With over 15,000 sports licenses in the town, the local government promotes free physical activity programs to encourage healthy habits among the residents of Alcorcón.
