The Juan Pablo II school in Alcorcón celebrates a new academic success. David Menéndez, a 4th-year ESO student, has won first prize in the XXIX edition of the Spring Mathematics Competition. This event is organized annually by the Faculty of Mathematics of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and is aimed at Level III, which includes students in their 3rd and 4th years of ESO.
David stood out among hundreds of participants from across the Community of Madrid, thanks to his remarkable reasoning skills and ability to solve complex mathematical problems. This achievement is the result of constant effort and work carried out with his Mathematics teacher, who guided him in developing strategies and rigorous mathematical thinking.
The Juan Pablo II school received the news with great pride, viewing it as recognition of the student's effort and the school's commitment to quality education. The competition aims to foster interest in mathematics among young people and highlight the talent of students with the greatest aptitude in this field.
