The municipality of Alcorcón is preparing to host the Spring and Literature Fair in May, an event designed to foster local commerce and offer a unique cultural experience to its residents.

This initiative, driven by the Municipal Institute for Employment and Economic Promotion of Alcorcón (IMEPE) in collaboration with the Culture and Festivities Department, will take place on May 16 and 17. Its primary goal is to enhance the visibility of local businesses and stimulate local economic activity.

"In Alcorcón, we have a strong commitment to local commerce. I encourage small businesses in the town to join this Spring and Literature Fair, a free space where they can sell their products, gain recognition, and connect even more with their neighbors."

Interested businesses will be able to have a stand or booth completely free of charge to display and sell their products throughout the weekend. In addition to the commercial offerings, the fair will feature a varied program of activities to attract the public, including live musical performances, family workshops, and other recreational proposals.
The established hours for the event are Saturday, May 16, from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, and Sunday, May 17, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. As an additional incentive, customers who make purchases exceeding ten euros will receive a free gift, such as bags, flowers, or t-shirts.

"Local businesses are the soul of our neighborhoods. Small businesses like bookstores bring us culture and are spaces from which to create community. This Spring and Literature Fair combines the best of book fairs and neighborhood markets, creating a weekend to enjoy with our loved ones and consume local products."
