The exhibition, organized by the ASPIRAL Association, features works created by students from their workshop. The inauguration is scheduled for next Tuesday, June 2nd, at 6:30 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover an ancient artistic technique that transforms wood into a medium full of nuances, textures, and stories.

The displayed works have been created using pyrography, a discipline that involves drawing on wood with heat. Each piece is unique, a result of the artist's skill and the inherent characteristics of each wood panel, such as its grain and composition.

The ASPIRAL Association, founded by a group of retirees participating in the workshops of the Alcorcón City Council's Senior Centers, promotes creativity, continuous learning, and community through the art of pyrography, guided by its motto “Union, Illusion, and Creation”.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Los Pinos Civic Center, located at Calle Los Pinos, 11. Visiting hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This initiative offers a chance to closely experience a centuries-old artisanal technique and admire the work of those who keep this artistic expression alive.
