The intervention of Alcorcón Firefighters was decisive in controlling a fire that originated on the terrace of a home in the municipality. Thanks to their prompt response, the flames were prevented from spreading inside the dwelling, thus minimizing potential damage. The causes of this incident are still under investigation.
During the same weekend, emergency teams also had to act to extinguish a fire in a container designated for solidarity clothing collection. This incident was quickly brought under control after a neighborhood alert, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby areas.
