The Festivities of Alcorcón will be celebrated with a reinforced focus on safety and sustainability, incorporating a 'Punto Violeta' and a special free bus service.

The City Council of Alcorcón has announced a special plan for the upcoming festivities, focusing on prevention and support, aiming to ensure safer and more sustainable celebrations. One of the key initiatives will be the presence of the 'Punto Violeta' (Violet Point), a space dedicated to attention, information, and awareness-raising against sexual violence.
Specialized personnel in sexual violence and gender equality will be available at the 'Punto Violeta' to offer support to those who have suffered an aggression, fear experiencing one, or have witnessed one. This space will serve as a safe and confidential area for attendees.
In line with the commitment to sustainability, the use of reusable cups will be implemented. Attendees can purchase a cup for one euro and receive a refund upon return, thus promoting more responsible consumption and reducing disposable waste during the celebrations.
To facilitate mobility and enhance safety, a special free bus service will be launched. This transport will connect various points within Alcorcón and will feature marked stops along its route. As an additional safety measure, women and minors can request to be dropped off on demand within the established itinerary.
These initiatives aim to combine leisure, safety, mobility, and respect for the environment, making the festivities in Alcorcón an accessible and secure event for all citizens.
