The incident occurred on Trueno street, in the municipality of Leganés. According to information from the 112-Comunidad de Madrid, the fatal accident happened while the operator was performing repair work on the building's roof.

Upon the arrival of emergency services from Summa 112, the man was found deceased, and they could only confirm his death. The warehouse was closed at the time of the accident, which initially hindered access for medical personnel.

Firefighters from the Community of Madrid were the ones who facilitated access to the warehouse, collaborating with paramedics and officers from the local and national police forces who were dispatched to the scene. The latter security body has launched an investigation to clarify the exact causes of the tragic event.
