The Mancomunidad de Servicios Sociales Las Vegas, which groups municipalities such as Ciempozuelos and Chinchón, has launched a new Family Respite and Inclusive Leisure program.

This initiative is designed for people with disabilities, offering them access to various leisure, cultural, nature, and social activities. The program aims to promote their autonomy and social participation, while also providing a respite for their families to facilitate work-life balance.
Rosa Revuelta, Councilor for Social Services and vice-president of the Mancomunidad, highlighted that the program is a "good example of integration and leisure" and that the goal is to "be close to families and promote activities for everyone".
For the 2026 autumn-winter season, activities such as a bowling day, an excursion, and a theater outing have been organized. One of the featured events will be in Ciempozuelos: "Halloweeeee", a Halloween party that will include games, workshops, music, and costumes. It will be held at the municipality's Sala Multifuncional on October 25th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with no prior registration required. If there are available spots, children from the municipality will also be able to attend.
Full details of all activities and their schedules can be found in a specific document.
