The Aranjuez City Council has unanimously approved the two local holidays for 2027: Friday, May 28, the feast of San Fernando, and Monday, September 6, for the Fiestas del Motín.

These dates, set after deliberation in the Festival Commission with the participation of various sectors, aim to meet the demands of the hospitality and commerce industries, placing one holiday on a Friday and another on a Monday.
The decision has been communicated to the Directorate General of Labor of the Community of Madrid for subsequent publication in the Official Gazette.
María Belmonte González, Delegate for Festivals, explained that the choice addresses the hospitality industry's request for a Friday holiday and responds to the commerce sector's demand for a Monday holiday, thus fulfilling the commitment to participation.
