Given the recent activity and imminent construction plans in Aranjuez, such as improvements to the station's car park and the restoration of the Sabatini route, along with future interventions on Plaza de San Antonio and its adjacent road, the municipal group ACIPA deems it essential to convene the Public Works Commission. The aim is to provide detailed information to residents and businesses once projects are drafted or awarded.
These actions are complemented by an asphalting plan, repainting of road markings, and the removal of roundabouts at key intersections like Avenida Plaza de Toros, Rey-Camino de las Cruces, and Calle Capitán, which will be signalized. While these works are welcome, transparent communication is necessary.
Furthermore, the demolition of the Puente de la Estación (Station Bridge) is mentioned, a significant project for which ACIPA requested the convening of the Mobility Pact months ago to study alternatives. It is understood that minor works arising from these alternatives could also be addressed in the Public Works Commission.
Therefore, the Independent Citizen Group for Aranjuez submits to the Corporation's Plenary the request for the municipal government to initiate, as swiftly as possible, the public works commissions related to the actions planned for the coming weeks or months.
