The municipal group Agrupación Ciudadana Independiente para Aranjuez (ACIPA) has submitted a question to the Plenary Corporation to ascertain the reasons why a municipal plot on Caramillar street, put up for sale in March 2022, remains unsold.

The plot, located at Caramillar street, number 1, owned by the Aranjuez City Council, was valued over four years ago at €768,152.10. It has a cadastral area of 2,445 m² and a buildable area of 1,467 m².
ACIPA recalls that the Agfa neighborhood, where the plot is situated, is one of the fastest-growing areas and that several companies had expressed interest in establishing a medium-sized commercial surface. In May 2024, the group inquired about the delays, and the government responded that the tender had been declared void and that there was an electrical issue being resolved with the responsible company.
The independent group criticizes that, after more than two years, the responsible company has not resolved the electrical problems, or that new issues or administrative delays have arisen. ACIPA believes that the residents of Aranjuez, especially those in the Agfa neighborhood, should be informed about the situation of this municipal plot.
