This initiative seeks to strengthen social support for public education and encourage citizen participation in activities designed for all ages. The Department of Education has emphasized the importance of defending early childhood education, considering it fundamental for the city's present and future, and has highlighted that the educators' demands are fair and necessary.
“"Defending early childhood education means defending the present and future of our city. The educators' demands are fair and necessary and require a response commensurate with the importance of this stage."
The day's program will feature a theatrical performance by the company La Charloja at the Municipal School of Music, with two showings at 10:30 and 11:30 AM. Solidarity tickets will cost 3 euros and can be purchased until capacity is reached.
Concurrently, the park adjacent to the center will host free activities such as children's workshops, games, face painting, and a bubble show by Tina Lorenzi. There will also be a solidarity market, a food and drink area, and a raffle with products donated by local businesses, with proceeds going to the strike's resistance fund.
The main demands of the educators include reducing classroom ratios, implementing educational pairs as per regulations, salary improvements, and an increase in human and financial resources to ensure adequate care at this educational stage. The event, promoted by early childhood educators, will take place between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
