The old schools of Arroyomolinos, a historically significant building in the town center, have been transformed into the headquarters for the environmental education center of the Guadarrama River Middle Course Regional Park.

This initiative, developed by the Community of Madrid in collaboration with the Arroyomolinos City Council, aims to establish a permanent facility. Its primary goal is to support the organization of environmental education and awareness activities, as designed by the General Directorate of Biodiversity and Natural Resources.
The program is intended for all citizens and seeks to promote the rich natural heritage of the aforementioned Regional Park. This park covers an area of 22,116 hectares, stretches for 131.8 kilometers, and extends through 19 municipalities in the region, including Arroyomolinos.
