Moraleja de Enmedio Enhances Road Safety with New Drug Analyzer for Local Police

The Local Police of Moraleja de Enmedio has integrated a new portable analyzer for drug detection, a tool that will allow for intensified road safety controls and improved prevention of psychoactive substance consumption while driving in the municipality.

This device, managed through the Department of Citizen Security of the Moraleja de Enmedio City Council, was fully funded by a grant from the Community of Madrid, incurring no cost to municipal coffers.
The new anti-drug test will be utilized in various road safety scenarios, including routine preventive checks, verification of traffic infractions, investigation of traffic accidents, and in cases where there are clear signs of impaired driving due to substance use.
The City Council emphasizes that this enhancement in the material resources of the Local Police not only boosts their operational capacity but also significantly contributes to ensuring greater safety for all residents of Moraleja de Enmedio.
