The Community of Madrid has announced the construction of a senior residence and day center in Arroyomolinos, a key infrastructure within the 'Plan 40-40' to improve care for the elderly in the region.

This project, promoted by the regional government, primarily aims to transform existing centers and create new facilities that offer more individualized care tailored to users' needs.
The future residence will be located on a 6,949 square meter plot, designated for social facilities, strategically situated between Avenida de Francia, Calle Suiza, and Calle Holanda in Arroyomolinos.
The 'Plan 40-40' anticipates the creation of approximately 8,000 new places across 40 residences and 40 day centers throughout the Community of Madrid. The estimated investment for this ambitious program exceeds 500 million euros, funded through public-private collaboration.
The new facilities are designed under the concept of personalized living units, seeking to replicate the conditions of a habitual home. They will feature kitchens, common areas, and rooms, at least half of which will be individual, to ensure residents' comfort and privacy.
