The Civil Guard has arrested a man and a woman with prior records in the Calypo Fado urbanization, located between Navalcarnero and Casarrubios del Monte, after discovering four kilograms of pressed and vacuum-sealed marijuana in a hidden compartment of their vehicle.

The arrests took place during a routine citizen security checkpoint, when agents from the Citizen Security Unit of the Command (USECIC) observed an unusual maneuver by the occupants of a car upon detecting police presence.
The nervous behavior of the individuals when intercepted by the agents heightened suspicions. Following a more thorough inspection of the vehicle, the civil guards located a specially adapted false bottom inside the car.
Inside this hidden compartment, four kilograms of marijuana were found, which had been pressed and vacuum-sealed. This preparation method suggested a clear intention to evade ordinary security controls.
Both occupants were immediately arrested. According to information provided by the Armed Institute, both individuals had prior criminal records and were handed over to the judicial authorities.
