On April 13, the Local Police of Nuevo Baztán responded to a fight between two men in the municipality. The information was released by the police force itself through its social media channels.
The incident came to light after an alert received via the 112 emergency service, enabling a swift deployment of officers. Upon arrival, and in coordination with a patrol from the Civil Guard of Campo Real, they proceeded to identify those involved and clarify the events.
As a result of the intervention, both men were arrested. Due to the bleeding injuries they sustained, they were taken to a hospital for medical attention before being brought before judicial authorities.
During the operation, officers also confiscated a large knife that had been used in the confrontation.
The Nuevo Baztán City Council highlighted the swift action and coordination between security forces, which effectively controlled the situation and ensured the safety of residents.
