The incident took place around 3:00 PM on Calle de la Vía, where several units from the Community of Madrid Fire Department quickly responded to control and extinguish the flames.

According to sources from Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid, the exact causes of the explosion that led to the collapse of the buildings are still unknown. Summa 112 health teams were also deployed to the area as a precautionary measure.
