The Campo Real City Council has completed a significant renovation of its municipal swimming pool, investing over 500,000 euros to modernize the facilities and improve accessibility in time for the summer season.

The investment, totaling 513,000 euros, has been allocated to the renovation of the outdoor area of the municipal swimming pool, marking one of the most important actions of the current legislative term. This project was made possible through funding from the Regional Investment Plan 2022-2026 of the Community of Madrid.
The works included the complete replacement of the purification system, covering machinery, filters, and the plumbing network. Additionally, the main pool basin has been transformed into an overflowing pool, making it more modern and efficient. The interior finishes of the basins and their perimeter have also been renewed, and the children's pool will feature new additions.
The project also placed a strong emphasis on accessibility, with the installation of a system that will allow access to the water for people with reduced mobility. Furthermore, the lawn area has been improved with a new irrigation system and the renewal of the vegetation surface.

"This action is one of the most important projects of the legislature, and it responds to a historical demand and a real need of the municipality. More and more residents are using the municipal pool, so it was essential to have dignified, modern, and optimal facilities."

The expected completion time will allow the facilities to be fully ready for residents to enjoy during the upcoming summer season. This intervention is part of a broader plan for the improvement and renovation of municipal facilities being carried out by the City Council, especially in the sports sector, with actions such as the replacement of the turf and improvement of changing rooms at the municipal football field, the adaptation of paddle tennis courts, and the expansion works of the municipal gym.
