The intervention, which is part of the Regional Investment Plan 2022-2026 of the Community of Madrid, was recently overseen by the mayor of the municipality. According to the Town Hall, the main objective of this action is to update facilities that were in a state of "significant deterioration".
Among the most notable improvements is the complete replacement of the purification system, which includes new machinery, filters, and a renovated plumbing network. Furthermore, the main pool has been transformed into an infinity pool, making it more efficient and adapted to current quality and sustainability standards.
The renovation also covered the renewal of finishes both inside the pools and in their surroundings, and significant improvements have been introduced to the children's pool, which now features new amenities. Regarding accessibility, a system has been installed to facilitate bathing for people with reduced mobility, thus ensuring an inclusive space for all users.

Additionally, the lawn area has been adapted, with a new irrigation system implemented and the vegetation surface renewed, improving the appearance and functionality of the green spaces. The pool's remodeling is part of a broader municipal plan for equipment improvement, especially in the sports field, which includes other actions such as the renovation of the football field's turf and changing rooms, the adaptation of paddle tennis courts, or the expansion of the municipal gym.
