Robledo de Chavela has launched its summer cultural program, which will run until mid-August with a diverse offering of music, theater, open-air cinema, and the anticipated Dragon Festival.

The town kicked off the activities last weekend with the XXVIII Band Competition, featuring the symphonic band from Torrelodones and the RobleRock festival, with tributes to Extremoduro and Estopa. The Plaza de España will be the main venue for many of these events.
The schedule continues with open-air cinema screenings on Tuesdays. On July 7, Buffalo Kids was shown, followed by Benetton on July 21 and Minecraft on July 28. Superman will be screened on August 4.
Music will play a prominent role with a tribute to Joaquin Sabina on July 12 and a performance by the Orquesta Gira Zeta on July 25 in the Barrio de la Estación. Additionally, there will be a 'Flamenco al Natural' night on July 26.
Art and popular culture will also have their space. On July 17, an artistic gathering will take place in the Plaza de España, followed by an Asturian festival on July 18 with dances, gastronomy, and music. On July 31, the XII Regional Dance Meeting will be held.
The eighth edition of the Dragon, Art, and Heritage Festival will run from August 7 to 9, offering workshops and concerts. On August 12, the solar eclipse will be viewable with live music at La Pasadilla.
The program will conclude with the Summer Scenes Festival on August 15 in the Plaza de España, featuring Euskal Barrok Ensemble, and a flamenco recital on August 23 in Parque del Cerrillo.
