A total of 870 people, representing two out of every three evacuees, have returned to their elderly and care centers, where permanent monitoring is in place. This was reported by sources from the Consejería de Familia, Juventud y Asuntos Sociales.
Currently, 11 out of the 21 evacuated social centers are operational. These include the Residencia de Mayores López Rumayor in San Martín de Valdeiglesias; Aldeas Infantiles and the Albergue Juvenil in San Lorenzo de El Escorial; Sanitas Almenara in Colmenar de Arroyo; San Juan Bautista and La Fresneda in Aldea del Fresno; and Maravillas and Alena Sierra Oeste (centers for people with disabilities) in Cadalso de los Vidrios.
These will soon be joined by Real de Rozas in Rozas de Puerto Real, Villa Clara in Villamantilla, and Amavir in Cenicientos.
Regarding individuals housed in social emergency resources, out of the 128 people who were relocated, 75 have already returned to their homes, while 53 remain accommodated.
