The 4th Edition of VentuCiencia transformed Venturada into a large open-air laboratory on June 12th, bringing together scientific institutions, educational centers, and citizens to foster dissemination and knowledge.

The event, which had to adjust its date and format due to the threat of rain, has established itself as a unique initiative in the Community of Madrid to bring science, research, and education to audiences of all ages. This annual gathering brings together educational centers, scientific entities, and renowned public organizations such as the CSIC, INTA, and the Sierra Norte Planetarium.
Through workshops, talks, exhibitions, and interactive experiences, Venturada became a large open laboratory. The initiative placed special emphasis on the participation of children and families. The presence of the Guardia Civil allowed attendees to learn about their research techniques and strengthen ties with the public.
The CSIC stood out with the participation of numerous researchers from various fields, capturing the interest of the youngest attendees. Other entities such as Apafam offered workshops, the tourism center Villa San Roque presented its routes, and Fontanería El Molar highlighted the importance of this essential profession.
The exhibition also featured participation from Galsinma with Mad-Rural, the NGO Geologists Without Borders, the Spanish Nuclear Society, Minerales Bernabé, and Mathematical Games. A virtual reality room offered an immersive space walk experience, among many other proposals.
Institutes from the Sierra region, such as IES La Cabrera, Gredos San Diego de Buitrago, IES Luís García Berlanga de Guadalix de la Sierra, IES Ángel Corella de Colmenar Viejo, IES Alto Jarama, and CEIPS Puerta de la Sierra, played a prominent role. Students from these centers explained the experiments and tests they developed.
The event was attended by the government's sub-delegate in Madrid, Pilar Trinidad Núñez, who toured the facilities alongside the mayor of Venturada, Carolina Folgueira, in the surroundings of the Coworking building of Los Cotos de Monterrey.
