The Picasso Museum – Eugenio Arias Collection in Buitrago del Lozoya is hosting free children's workshops this summer that explore the unique friendship between Pablo Picasso and Eugenio Arias.

Young participants can immerse themselves in the daily, affectionate relationship between the renowned artist and his friend through a series of activities designed to turn history into an interactive experience. A fun scavenger hunt will guide attendees, with challenges recreating key aspects of their bond.
Six different workshops make up the summer program, each focusing on a distinct facet of this friendship. Children will have the opportunity to create their own toys, mobile objects, and visual poems, experimenting with various artistic techniques.

Each challenge recreates an aspect of their relationship.

The activity will take place on Saturday, July 4th, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. It is aimed at families with children aged 5 to 12 years old.
The initiative, organized by IDAE and in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento de Buitrago del Lozoya, is free of charge but has limited capacity. Advance booking is essential via email at museopicasso@buitrago.org or by calling 918 680 056 ext.4, providing the participants' full names, number of spots reserved, and a contact phone number.
