Driven by the Education and Culture Networks, this project has involved the collaboration of Cristina Vadillo, Fran Sueiro, and Luís García Valera, who have worked closely with the educational community, senior citizens, town councils, and various entities. The result is a collection of documents that capture months of interviews, workshops, and shared activities.
The project culminates in an illustrated album featuring a selection of childhood and youth memories, songs, riddles, tongue twisters, tales, legends, and romances. These narratives, shared by the region's elders, have been illustrated by students from the CEIP Ángel Gómez de Andrés and the artist collective La Veta.
These materials, accessible via the project's website, contribute to the conservation and dissemination of the collective memory of the Sierra del Rincón. The album's pages invite readers to explore the history and shared heritage of its people, ensuring this legacy endures and is passed on to new generations.
