The incident took place around 9:30 AM when, for reasons still under investigation, the motorcycle the man was riding collided with a car. As a result of the impact, the victim was thrown from the vehicle and went into cardiorespiratory arrest.
SUMMA 112 emergency medical personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene and performed resuscitation maneuvers for approximately 40 minutes. Despite their efforts, they were unable to reverse the arrest and confirmed the rider's death.
