A grass fire that broke out this Wednesday at 3:00 PM near the Tomillar residential area in Lozoya has been successfully contained by emergency services.

The fire, which began in the early afternoon, primarily affected the arizonica fencing of several properties in the area. According to sources from Emergencias 112 Comunidad de Madrid, the initial response involved 15 units, including both ground and aerial resources.
Following containment efforts, Madrid Community Firefighters remain on-site to carry out cooling operations. These tasks are essential to ensure the total extinction of hot spots and prevent any risk of the flames reigniting.
The incident did not cause damage to any of the homes in the residential area. Furthermore, authorities have confirmed that there were no injuries or cases of smoke inhalation reported during the event.
