The Alameda del Valle City Council commemorated Book Day 2026 with a special event focused on nature, which included the opening of a new thematic library and various activities.

The celebration, organized in collaboration with ARBA Valle del Lozoya, offered attendees a space for cultural enrichment and enjoyment of nature. The event was inaugurated by the Culture councilor, David Matarranz, who welcomed everyone with verses created for the occasion.
During the day, participants enjoyed a sustainable snack, consisting of homemade cakes, fruits, and organic products. This initiative was carried out under strict sustainability criteria, aiming to generate no waste and promoting responsible consumption.
One of the central points of the event was the inauguration of a new library specializing in nature topics. This space was complemented by various recreational and participatory activities, designed to foster creativity and a passion for reading and the natural environment among all attendees.
With these types of initiatives, the municipality of Alameda del Valle reinforces its commitment to promoting culture, environmental sustainability, and the revitalization of community life, offering proposals that combine learning with respect for the environment.
