The initiative, which responds to a request from a local family, is part of the council's commitment to building a fully accessible and inclusive municipality. An investment of 7,900 euros has enabled the creation of a walkway and the incorporation of a swing designed to guarantee the safety and accessibility for all children.
These adapted swings feature special seats, restraint systems, and ergonomic backrests, facilitating their use for both children and their companions. The measure seeks to foster coexistence and shared enjoyment of public spaces, removing barriers to play.

The Galapagar Town Council aims to extend these types of facilities throughout the municipality, ensuring that each area has at least one adapted playground. Municipal authorities have indicated that they will continue to listen to the demands of families to move towards a more accessible and inclusive Galapagar for all its citizens.
