The incident, detected at 1:30 PM, has led to a recommendation against consuming tap water as a precautionary measure. Canal de Isabel II is carrying out pipe cleaning operations to restore normal water quality.
Starting from 3:00 PM, water bottles will be distributed at several locations within the municipality for affected residents. These include Calle Viñas, 15; Avenida de Chozas de la Sierra, opposite Calle Concejo; Calle Ave María, 5; Plaza de Chozas; and Camino de los Arrieros, 25, near the Skate Park.
Citizens are urged to collect bottles responsibly, only attending if directly affected by the incident. The City Council has provided a map on its website to consult the exact distribution points.
The council apologizes for any inconvenience caused and assures that efforts are underway to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
