The City Council has designed an agenda for all ages, aiming to bring residents and visitors together for one of the year's most anticipated celebrations.
The main days will be Saturday, October 3, and Wednesday, October 7, the patron saint's day. On Sunday, October 4, the traditional mus tournament will take place.
On Saturday, October 3, the morning is dedicated to children with the family activity ‘Descubre y juega’ in the Parque del Río. In the afternoon, the same venue will host the Fiesta Holy. The Church will be the stage for the III Coral Music Festival, premiering in Madrid with ‘El canto de la Sibila’ performed by José Hernández-Pastor.
Saturday night will feature a fireworks display at the Rotonda de Chozas, followed by a solidarity bingo in the Plaza de la Villa benefiting the association Impacto Civil Solidario. Live music will be provided by Ochenteame otra vez and a set by DJ Suky.
On Sunday, October 4, the Centro de Mayores (Senior Center) will host the Virgen del Rosario Mus Tournament. Registrations can be made via email or at the center.
On Wednesday, October 7, the day of the Virgen del Rosario, will begin with the traditional mass and procession. Afterwards, the Parque del Río will host a flamenco performance by Fran El Pesca, accompanying the communal potato and meat stew lunch. Cáritas de Soto del Real will have a collection point for non-perishable food items.
The Councilor for Events and Festivals, Almudena Sánchez, highlighted that the program aims to reach all audiences, combining family activities, music, culture, solidarity, and traditional events.
