The race, starting at 10:00 AM, will offer various modalities for all ages and levels. The 10.4-kilometer long race will feature a new single-loop circular route, passing through the Anillo Verde sports area, the Hermitage, the Balsa de Los Palancares, and the Río park, returning to the finish line at Plaza de la Villa. The 5.5-kilometer circuit will maintain its usual route, as will the children's races, combining asphalt and dirt sections within the Anillo Verde environment.
Participants can choose between the competitive 10.4 km race, the 5.5 km race, the 1.5 km children's race, a 5.5 km Nordic walk, and non-competitive races for U10 (500 m) and U12 (1,000 m) categories. Additionally, a 'dorsal 0' (bib number 0) will be available for those who wish to contribute financially without participating in person.
Registrations are now open through the YouEvent platform, where the race regulations and detailed route information can also be consulted. Registration includes accident insurance, timing, and a commemorative gift while supplies last.
Participants are encouraged to come in Christmas-themed costumes to foster a festive spirit, with prizes also awarded for the most creative costumes. The City Council has organized a special security operation coordinated between the Local Police and Civil Protection, with temporary traffic diversions to ensure the event runs smoothly.
“"The Christmas Charity Race is an essential event in Soto del Real where over 300 runners enjoy a beautiful route running or Nordic walking and contribute their bit. Every registration and every kilometer run translates into real support for Cruz Roja, combining sport, fun, and solidarity in a single gesture."
The City Council of Soto del Real invites residents and visitors to participate in this sporting and solidarity event.
