Although the main prize has been left without a winner, the committee of specialists has recognized the most notable performances and elements of the bullfighting series in other categories. The trophy, created in 1994 to honor the celebrated matador Salvador Sánchez Frascuelo, is a silver statuette that reproduces the town hall's tower.
The awards granted were: Daniel Moset for the best performance (faena); Iván Rejas for the best sword thrust (estocada); the livestock of José Cruz as the best livestock; bull nº 39 from Montealto, fought on September 28th, as the best bull; David Blázquez for the best pair of banderillas; Alberto Martín Antequera for the best cape work (brega); and Miguel Novoa for the best lance thrust (puyazo).
