The La Maliciosa Social Services and Women's Association has opened registration for its Senior Program in Guadarrama, which will run until next August 28.

Residents interested in participating in the 2026-2027 season of these workshops, which include physical, cognitive, cultural, and personal development activities, can apply in person. Registrations will only be accepted at the Hogar del Pensionista on Monday, August 24, and Friday, August 28, between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM.
The allocation of places will be determined by a lottery, which will take place on Monday, September 1, at 10:00 AM at the headquarters of the La Maliciosa Association, located at Calle Recaredo Collar, 6.
The educational offering includes a wide variety of disciplines. In the physical realm, classes such as dance, active gymnastics, pilates, sevillanas, tai chi, yoga, and Zumba are proposed. For cognitive and cultural development, participants can choose from memory workshops, a reading club, art history, history of Madrid, English, AI workshop, theater, and mobile phone usage.
Additionally, personal growth activities like creative sewing, crafts, and painting will be offered. Complementing the program, the Community of Madrid, through the Directorate General of Public Health, will provide a workshop on emotional well-being. Furthermore, the la Caixa Foundation will present initiatives such as 'Amigos lectores' (Reader Friends), 'Haz trámites por internet' (Do transactions online), and 'En forma' (Get in shape).
