The Municipal School of Music, Dance and Artistic Education of Valdemorillo has opened enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year, which will begin on October 1st. Enrollment will be free for all disciplines, with the exception of dance classes, which started last week. The educational offer covers music, theater, artistic education, and body-mind activities, with affordable prices and an experienced teaching team.
The Councilor for Culture and Tourism, Victoria Gil, highlighted the school's importance in Valdemorillo, stating that "in Valdemorillo we are very satisfied to have the EMMDEA, to applaud its achievements and see how it continues to generate interest in training in these subjects, which, as a whole, are a way of living and enjoying art every day." Gil emphasized the relevance of "practicing art in any of its forms, discovering and developing creativity and skills."
Among the new offerings for this academic year, children's theater and musical theater classes will be held on Saturday mornings. Additionally, Lindy Hop is being introduced in the dance area.
The school, directed by Gabriel Gomila, maintains discounts for registered residents, large families, individuals over 65, and people with a disability exceeding 33%.
Special packages with reduced prices are also available for studying multiple subjects, such as a combination of an instrument (individual or group), music theory, and participation in ensembles like the Big Band, as well as for the dance area.
