The City Council of Soto del Real has unanimously approved the tender for the construction project of the future Municipal Emergency Center. This initiative aims to group the Local Police, Civil Protection, Firefighters, and the Ambulance service under one roof, bodies that currently operate more dispersedly.
The main objective of this unification is to improve coordination among the different services, expedite response to any type of emergency, and ultimately enhance the municipality's operational capacity. The location of the future center has been strategically selected to ensure quick access to both the urban area and the main communication routes, a crucial factor where every minute counts.

The Mayor, Noelia Barrado, explained that the plot selection responds to the need to minimize mobilization times. She also highlighted that the building's design has involved collaboration with the project's drafting team and nearby residents to optimize it.
The Urban Planning Councilor, Antonio Pontejo, detailed that the planned investment for this work amounts to 2,440,000 euros. He emphasized that the new center will unify and boost existing services, such as the Local Police, Civil Protection, ambulances, and firefighters, aiming to provide an improved service to all citizens. Pontejo described the project as 'very well-worked,' the result of months of study and preparation.
With the approval of the tender, the project now enters a new administrative phase. The government team has committed to continuing progress and sharing updates on the construction's development in the coming months.
