The event, scheduled for 12:00 PM, will feature the author, who previously served as a doctor at the local Health Center. He will be joined by Dr. José Ramón Castillón Fantova, a family doctor in Moralzarzal, for a discussion on the historical, human, and literary aspects of the novel.
Queronea tells the story of Telaximandros of Thebes, a survivor of the battle of the same name in 338 BC, where a coalition of Greek cities faced the army of Philip II of Macedon and his son Alexander. The novel reconstructs the life of this character, his experience in the Sacred Band of Thebes, the destruction of his city, and his exile.
