The Department of Environment, Networks and Services of the Moralzarzal Town Council has made significant improvements to the recreational areas of Las Hachazuelas. With the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle and providing quality services to the community, new sports facilities and leisure spaces have recently been opened.

Among the most notable additions are a beach soccer field and a beach volleyball court. These new facilities not only diversify the sports options available to residents but also offer significant physical health benefits. Beach soccer, for example, is excellent for improving cardiovascular endurance and muscle strength, due to the greater effort required on sand. Beach volleyball, on the other hand, promotes teamwork and coordination, in addition to helping reduce stress and improve agility and balance when practiced outdoors.

In March, the recreational offerings were expanded with the opening of a new Canine Recreation Area. This fenced space is designed for pets to run and socialize safely, responding to a growing demand from dog owners in the locality. To ensure harmonious coexistence, regulations have been established, including the obligation to keep dogs under constant supervision, pick up excrement, and respect authorized off-leash areas. Animals are prohibited from entering children's areas or those designated for the elderly, as well as bathing in ornamental fountains.

Additionally, and with the general well-being of citizens in mind, a new public fountain has been installed. With all these initiatives, the Town Council seeks to offer residents a modern space where they can enjoy sports, relax, and share pleasant moments with their pets.
