On May 24th, Moralzarzal will host the 7th Women's Day Race, an event aimed at promoting physical activity and advocating for equality, coinciding with Women's Health Day.

This edition of the race, already a well-established event in the municipality, will start at 12:00 PM, with both the start and finish lines located at the Plaza de Toros. The initiative highlights the importance of sport as a fundamental pillar for overall well-being and as a tool to advance towards effective equality.

"From the City Council, we want to focus on two fundamental pillars: the benefits of sports practice for our integral health and the need to continue advancing, all together, on the path towards full equality. It is a day of celebration for the achievements made and a reminder of the joint effort that still lies ahead."

The race route is designed to be accessible to all ages, encouraging individual, family, or group participation. It combines urban sections with the natural beauty of the surroundings, starting from the Plaza de Toros, passing through Avenida Salvador Sánchez Frascuelo and Vía del Berrocal, then entering the Dehesa, and returning to the starting point.
All registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a runner's bag when collecting their bib numbers, available from 10:00 AM. After crossing the finish line, the day will continue with refreshments to replenish energy, a trophy ceremony for the winners, and various surprises for all attendees, maintaining a festive atmosphere.
